The Africa Gas Association is the leading voice of the natural gas and energy industry in Africa. It seeks to become one of the most influential and respectful organizations in the global natural gas and energy industry.
Anne Etoke MD/CEO of The Africa Gas Association was inducted into the Class of 2015 MMS-Plus' in Collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs Nigeria Hall of Famers.
Amongst the Hall of Famers were the Director -General of NCWA, Principal Consultant Lonadek Oil & Gas amongst others. The official ceremony took place in Lagos Nigeria on Oct. 20th 2015.
October 14th - 15th, 2013, TAGA held it's Historical INAUGURAL Ceremony at the Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi Kenya. It should be noted that despite the BOMBING of the Nairobi Mall two weeks before the event, The Africa Gas Association held a very successful events with delegates from all over the world
A 22 - person delegation from the Constituency for Africa (CFA), met March 14, 2016 with Congresswoman Karen Bass (D-CA), the Ranking Member of the House Sub-Committee on Africa, Global Health and Human Rights, to discuss a range of topics and issues concerning US Africa policy for the remainder of the Obama Administration and going forward. The meeting took place in the Cannon House Office Building on Capital Hill in Washington.
The CFA delegation was comprised of leading Diaspora leaders and experts in Washington on a range of issues concerning Africa including development assistance, trade and investment, healthcare infrastructure in Africa, security concerns, Africa policy formulation and Diaspora engagement.
CFA’s President Melvin Foote was the moderator for the meeting and facilitated the discussion. Said Foote, “Meeting with Congresswoman Bass is always a great pleasure for us. Her commitment to Africa and the Diaspora is unmatched in the US Congress and it is clear that she welcomes fresh ideas and suggestions for policy and program initiatives. We are looking forward to following up with her and her staff on many areas that were discussed in the coming months leading up to the elections this fall”!
TAGA’s mission is to influence and support policies which promote a strong, viable and sustainable natural gas industry in Africa and beyond in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner.
